Audition Week at a Glance:

🎥  General Auditions: A pre-recorded video of you singing your audition song. It can be a song from any musical, around three minutes long. Please sing along to an accompaniment or karaoke track (no a capella submissions; Disney songs are ok). This song will serve as both your acting and vocal audition, so please prepare to act the song and show your personality. Audition submissions should be uploaded and ready to view on Google Classroom by 9:00 PM on Thursday, January 14th.

🩰  Dance Audition: Held via Zoom on Friday from approximately 3:20-4:30 PM. You’ll learn a short combination and dance in groups.

🐸   Callbacks: Held on Tuesday, January 19th from 3:20-6:20. You’ll get to read scenes from the script and sing some songs from the show.

Hope you join us,
Caitlin Knapp

Interested students can sign up for Theatre 1, 2, or Stagecraft at course selection night or come to auditions in the spring for Advanced Theatre, Honors Advanced Theatre, or Honors Children’s Theatre.

Franklin Theatre Company produces between five and nine shows each season. All students are welcome to audition in our after school productions. We hold auditions during the summer for our musical revue, in September for the fall and winter shows, and in January for the spring musical. Other productions require you to be enrolled in a theatre class. Auditions for those classes are held in the spring prior to course selection night.
